CASME Belt and Road Initiative Working Committee Delegation Visited TADI for Exchange and Investigation
Recently, Mr. SHANG Shiwei, Vice President of the China Association of Small and Medium Enterprises (CASME), together with Mr. MENG Zhaoqiang, Director of CASME’s Belt and Road Initiative (BRI) Working Committee, led a delegation to Tianjin Architecture Design Institute Co., Ltd. (TADI) for a visit and business exchange. Mr. FENG Wenlong, Deputy General Manager and Chief Engineer of TADI, attended the meeting. TADI participants also included Mr. HU Xueying, Party Branch Secretary and Dean of the Green Building Institute; Mr. ZHU Xudong, Deputy Dean of the Green Building Institute and Deputy Director of the International Business Department; Mr. LIU Huijia, Deputy Director of the Market Operations Department; Mr. YANG Guang, Party Branch Secretary and Deputy Director of the Engineering Management Center of the EPC Business Division; Mr. FU Xueming, Manager of the Jianhua Consulting Branch; and other relevant team members.
During the meeting, Mr. FENG introduced TADI’s overall profile and comprehensive capabilities, and expressed TADI’s strong interest in strengthening cooperation with the CASME BRI Working Committee through this engagement. He noted that TADI has been dedicated to the engineering and construction sector for more than 70 years and maintains leading technical capabilities in China. TADI is currently advancing its strategic development initiatives and actively implementing the business strategy of “rooted in Tianjin, expanding nationwide, and going global.” The Institute is accelerating its overseas market deployment, exploring expansion pathways suited to international projects, and aims to work closely with partners to deliver integrated “Chinese construction solutions” in global markets.
Mr. SHANG spoke highly of TADI’s development achievements and practical experience in overseas market expansion, and expressed appreciation for TADI’s warm reception. He also introduced the establishment background and operating approach of CASME’s BRI Working Committee. He emphasized that the Committee upholds the Belt and Road principles of extensive consultation, joint contribution, and shared benefits, and supports local governments and enterprises in participating in global projects. He expressed the hope that this visit would serve as a catalyst to deepen overseas cooperation, achieve mutual benefit and win-win outcomes, and jointly strengthen engagement in the development initiatives of both the Belt and Road and the Eurasian Economic Union.
Representatives from both sides held in-depth and constructive discussions on international business positioning, cooperation models, and project outcomes. The parties also reached preliminary cooperation intentions on several initiatives, including the China–Russia Khabarovsk Industrial Park and urban planning projects in Mozambique. The visit and exchange are expected to provide an important opportunity for further collaboration and to lay a solid foundation for sustained, mutually beneficial partnership going forward.
