TADI and Subsidiary Zhuhang Testing Selected as a “Green Building Pre-Assessment Institution” by the China Association of Building Energy Efficiency

Tianjin Architecture Design Institute Co., Ltd. (TADI), together with its subsidiary Tianjin Zhuhang Testing Technology Co., Ltd. (“Zhuhang Testing”), has been officially admitted to the China Association of Building Energy Efficiency (CABEE) Directory of Green Building Pre-Assessment Institutions and awarded CABEE’s Green Building Pre-Assessment Institution qualification. Obtaining this important qualification as the lead applicant reflects TADI’s strong technical foundation and professional service capabilities in the green building sector, and further reinforces its standing and continued growth in the industry.

Green building pre-assessment is a key measure to advance China’s green building development agenda, respond to the Ministry of Housing and Urban-Rural Development’s “Good Housing” initiative, and support the national “dual-carbon” (carbon peaking and carbon neutrality) strategy. Through early-stage technical review and evaluation, pre-assessment helps optimize project design solutions, enhance energy-efficiency and carbon-reduction performance across the full building lifecycle, strengthen implementation quality, and accelerate the effective application of green technologies. Qualified institutions are authorized to conduct project pre-assessments and issue the corresponding identification certificates in accordance with national standards and relevant industry association requirements and administrative procedures.

To date, leveraging the core team of its Green Building and Low-Carbon Energy Research Center, TADI has established a comprehensive portfolio of assessment and certification qualifications across multiple domains and project types, including zero-carbon buildings, near-zero energy buildings, and green building pre-assessment for buildings, districts and spatial environments, as well as factories and industrial parks. These recognitions demonstrate the market’s and industry’s strong endorsement of TADI’s expertise in green and low-carbon building practices, and provide a solid foundation for its continued development in this field.

Looking ahead, TADI will build on these qualification advantages to further expand market opportunities, innovate service models, and deliver professional, specialized solutions that support the construction sector’s green and low-carbon transition—contributing meaningful and sustained value toward achieving China’s carbon peaking and carbon neutrality goals.
