Visit of Ambassador Xu Yicong and Delegation to the Company
On June 19, Feng Wenlong, Deputy General Manager of the Company, warmly received Ambassador Xu Yicong, a senior Chinese diplomat; Du Huihuang, Deputy Secretary-General of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Photography Association; Liu Tao, Director of the Tianjin Office of the Charhar Institute; and Ai Xinjueluo Boxiang, a renowned calligrapher and painter.
Accompanying them were Zhang Jian, Chief Architect of the General Contracting Division; Zhao Hongmei, Director of the BIM Engineering Technology Center; Sun Yan, International Project Leader of the Engineering Management Center; Tang Xiaoyun, Deputy Director of the Architectural Structure Technical Consultation and R&D Center of the Green Building Institute; and other relevant personnel.
At the meeting, Deputy General Manager Wenlong welcomed the delegation and introduced the company's basic situation. He stated that Tianjin Architectural Design Institute has been involved in overseas business since the 1970s, forming close cooperative relationships with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Ministry of Commerce, and relevant central and state-owned enterprises during its foreign aid construction and overseas market expansion.
Against the backdrop of economic globalization, the architectural design industry must not only base itself domestically but also actively "go global." In the course of overseas business development, Tianjin Architectural Design Institute will further establish a fine-quality awareness, export its rich construction experience overseas, deepen cooperative relationships with all stakeholders, and achieve complementary advantages and win-win cooperation.
Director Liu Tao thanked the company for its warm reception and briefly introduced the delegation. Ambassador Xu Yicong expressed gratitude for the reception, highly affirming Tianjin Architectural Design Institute's achievements in diplomatic architecture and its rich overseas design experience.
Combining his own diplomatic experience, he deeply discussed the important role of architecture in driving regional political and economic development. The ambassador provided guidance on the international development of architectural design enterprises, encouraging Tianjin Architectural Design Institute to continue leveraging its brand effect, actively expand overseas markets, and expressed hope to build a communication bridge between Tianjin Architectural Design Institute and diplomatic institutions as well as overseas markets, injecting new impetus into international business development.
After the meeting, the delegation visited the company's history museum and engaged in technical and business exchanges.
